Chris Saunders

He is a professional photographer, his most common style of photography is portrait. He does portrait photography for Bands, Actors, Wedding, Directors and more. He started photography when he was in his early 20s and He went to university in manchester. One of the biggest pictures he was done was when he travelled down to London to get a picture of David Linch and the picture that he took was used for a poster that was used for advertising all over Europe. He has also taken portrait of  Harold Pinter and Tim Robins. He has taken band portraits of 65 days of static. He has used wide angle lenses as well as portrait and also uses lights and reflectors to get a shadow effect on parts of the face in portraits such as the photograph of David Finch with a cigarette. When he takes photographs he tries to frame the subject with the background they are in and he pays a lot of attention the that aspect of the photograph. He also is not that interested in the cameras he uses because he believes that the photograph depends on him not the camera. He does a lot of research to get the right location for his photo shoots and has used different settings, for example satellite dishes, farms, woods and country side.
